An Egyptian wrestler hopes he has set a world record after pulling a 700 ton (635,000 kg) boat with his teeth.
Ashraf Mahrous, 44, pulled it across the water EgyptRed Sea Hurghada Resort on Saturdays.
Mahrous, nicknamed ‘Kabonga’ and is known by the Egyptians as a ‘strong person’, then pulled two ships weighing around 1,150 tons (1,043,000 kg) together.
Mahrous said after that: “Today, I came to break the world record. I attract them both, thank God, to prove to my friends and the whole world that God blessed me by becoming the strongest person in the world.”
The wrestler, from the port city of Ismalia, said he would send videos and photos of his business to Guinness World Records to see whether he had set new signs, because the current record was a 614-ton ship (557,000 kg) set in 2018.
In March, Mahrous pulled the train weighing 279 tons (253,105kg) with a rope on his teeth for almost 10 meters (33 feet) and was officially recognized by Guinness World Records for the tugged train pull, along with the certificate for the tug of the toughest locomotive and for the pull of the fastest 100 meter road vehicle.
Three years earlier, he was recognized for pulling 15,730kg trucks with his teeth.
He built his strength to the challenge on Saturday by practicing six hours a day while eating protein and iron -rich diet, showing at least a dozen eggs, two intact chickens, and 5kg of fish.
Mahrous, who stands 6 feet 3in (1.9 m) is high and weighs 155kg (341lbs), said his strength appeared early and began to lift goods for money when he was nine years old.
He once accidentally broke the arm of a friend when he tried to pull him when they played.
Growing up, he likes sports and is trained in Kung Fu, kickboxing and establishing a wrestling team in Cairo.
Friends who see it easily turn a giant tire 10 times in a row in a lonely yard in their gym, and push the car using only one finger, persuading him to go for a world record.
He did not take supplements, he said, but eating, sleeping and exercising at least twice every day.

Furthermore, he will ask Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi to permission to pull a submarine and one day wants to pull the aircraft only using his eyelid muscles.
Mahrous believes that talking to the object he withdrew previously helped him build a connection and is the key to his success.
“It is important for me to treat the object that I will pull as part of my body which moves along with my heartbeat,” he said.
