The air component of Operation Fansan Yamma (OPFY), Sector 3, has carried out a successful air strike at the hiding place for “hostile elements” in the state of Kwara.
Director of Public Relations and Public Information Nigeria Air Force (NAF), Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, revealed this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
He said the troops carried out several coordinated missions on Sundays throughout KakiHun, Okay-Ode, Babanla, and surrounding areas.
“The reconnaissance and operation of close air support was launched to prevent threats, targeting hostile elements that were seen east of Babanla.

“Supported supervision flights include the main settlement and military position, gathering vital intelligence to support land operations.
“This mission reiterates the commitment of Naf to protect troops and civilians, maintain air excellence, and maintain pressure on hostile actors.
“All operations were completed successfully,” said the spokesman.
