The police operation in Edo has killed two kidnappers and restoring weapons in the southeast eSan area of ​​the government in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Moses Yamu, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday in Benin.

He said the operation took place on Tuesday after credible intelligence.

Yamu said: “Amedokhia Tactical Division Operation, led by SP Peter Ogah, acted in synergy with local hunters and the main judge group, began attacks along the railroad track that led to Ubiaja.

“During the operation, the team found a group of suspected kidnappers who fired on operators.

“In the next weapon duel, two suspects were neutralized, while others fled with various levels of injury.

“One AK-47 rifle with breech numbers 4148, 33 rounds of live ammunition, and two cellphones were found at the scene.”
