Angry young man attacked the king’s wife, son in Onsdo

Angry young man on Friday attacked the wife of a traditional ruler and son in the Idogun community in the area of ​​the Ondo Regional Government.

The victims were the wife of Oba Moses Bakare, Onidogun from Idogun, and his son, Prince Victor Bakare.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Olushola Ayanlade, who confirmed the news to journalists, stated that the incident occurred in Ishara’s places in the Idogun community when the prince visited his parents to join the new Yam festival celebration.

He said the police would reveal the situation around the attack on the king’s family.

“Yes, the prince and mother were attacked by angry young men. This case is being investigated, and we do not leave the stone that was missed in ensuring that justice was served,” the spokesman added.

Meanwhile, the Prince, in a chat with a journalist, said the angry young men suffered an injury to him.

He accused that the attackers humiliated his family by stripping his mother half naked, pouring urine and other dirty substances to him.

They also attack traditional authorities.
