Amuneke hails Heartland’s 3-1 win over Smart City

Heartland FC Technical Director, Emmanuel Amuneke, has praised his team’s performances following their 3-1 win over Smart City FC in the Nigeria National League.

Amuneke described the result as a positive step for Naze Millionaires, noting that the players showed determination and tactical discipline to secure all three points.

According to the former international, the win reflects the hard work the team has put in in training as they continue their championship run.

“We are satisfied with the result. The players showed commitment and executed the game plan well. Winning 3-1 against a team like Smart City is a good boost for the team,” Amuneke said.

The Heartland technical manager, however, stressed that the team will remain focused and continue to work hard as the championship progresses.

He added that the aim is to maintain consistency and build on the momentum of the win as they aim to improve their performances in subsequent matches in the league.
