APC Support Groups Board Approves Yari’s Renewed Hope Network

As Nigerians wait for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to lift the ban on political campaigning, about fifteen hundred (1500) registered support groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have endorsed The Renewed Hope Network (TRN) as a special purpose vehicle set up to galvanize strong and broad grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential elections.

In a statement signed on Monday in Abuja by the Deputy Director General of the APC Support Groups Council, Dr. AK Peter’s, said the decision was made after a strategic meeting with the TRN technical team led by a seasoned APC mobilizer and former Senior Special Assistant to the APC National Chairman on Civil Society and Support Groups, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, and an international diplomat, Professor Tunji John Asaolu.

Peters expressed confidence in TRN’s growing momentum nationwide.

The TRN is promoted by former Zamfara State Governor and Zamfara West Senator, Abdulaziz Yari, as the main platform for grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.

The statement said that as part of its first strategic activities, the Renewed Hope Network has initiated the mobilization of poll workers across all polling units in Nigeria, laying the foundation for effective grassroots engagement ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential elections.

“The level of acceptability of the TRN by Nigerians is unprecedented and the Council of APC Support Groups cannot be ruled out.”

According to him, the Renewed Hope Network has already put in place comprehensive structures and strategies aimed at ensuring a resounding victory for President Tinubu in 2027.

“The TRN is committed to building in a very short time the most formidable grassroots political movement in support of Mr. President, networking every corner of the country.

“At APC we have over three thousand five hundred (3,500) registered support groups, of which fifteen hundred (1,500) have approved the partnership with The Renewed-Hope Network (TRN).

“We are confident that another 2,000 groups will join the network between now and Easter,” said Ak Peters.

According to the statement, the leader of the Council of Support Groups of the APC highlighted the quality of leadership provided by Senator Abdulaziz Yari, adding that the RenewedHope network remains the only hope for grassroots mobilizations across the country.

He said no effort would be spared in mobilizing Nigerians to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is sworn in for a second term on May 29, 2027 regarding Senator Yari.
