ADC publishes the updated list of convention committees

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), on Sunday, released the updated list of its convention committee and subcommittees ahead of the April 14 national convention.

A statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, in Abuja, said the update aims to strengthen coordination and ensure a smooth and credible convention.

The party had earlier released its National Convention Central Coordination Committee, with Senator Liyel Imoke as chairman and Senator Aminu Tambuwal as vice-chairman.

The party urged all committee members to fulfill their responsibilities with diligence and called on stakeholders to support the process.

The updated lists signed by the party’s national organizing secretary, Chinedu Idigo, read: “The ADC has approved the appointment of the following persons to serve on the planning committee of the national convention to be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.”

The updated list of convention committees featured 16 subcommittees, including logistics, elections, accommodation, venue, security, finance, media and publicity, delegate accreditation and welfare, among others.
