Sporting Supreme and Naija Ratels secure tickets to Federation Cup

Sporting Supreme Football Academy and Naija Ratels have been crowned champions of the 2026 FCT Federation Cup after claiming victories in the men’s and women’s finals respectively.

The finals, held on Saturday 25 April 2026 at the Area 3 Playing Ground in Abuja, offered an impressive display of footballing talents in both categories. In the women’s final, Naija Ratels dominated the match with a convincing 3-0 win over NAF FC to clinch the title.

In the men’s competition, the Sporting Supreme Football Academy made history by claiming their first ever FCT Federation Cup title. Their senior team overcame the Under-19 team in a hotly contested match, winning 2-1 in an unusual final featuring two teams from the same academy.

Following their success, all four finalists – Naija Ratels, NAF FC, Sporting Supreme Team 1 and Sporting Supreme Team 2 – will represent the FCT at the 2026 National President Federation Cup.
