Nigeria’s currency, the naira, weakened again against the United States dollar at the official window on Tuesday.
Officially, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) foreign exchange data shows that the naira closed at N1,375.62/$1, compared with N1,373.16/$1 on Monday.
This represents a loss of N2.46 in the local currency against the dollar.
On the black market, the naira lost N9 against the dollar, trading at N1,394/$1, compared with N1,385/$1 the previous day.

The local currency closed flat against the British Pound and Canadian dollar, trading at N1,880/£1 and N1,100/CA$1 respectively.
The Naira also closed flat against the Euro, trading at ₦1,620/€1.
