Silversports Football Club players have stepped up preparations ahead of the upcoming Imo State Football Association League, with the team intensifying training sessions to reach peak fitness and tactical coordination before the start of the competition.

The players underwent rigorous drills, including endurance runs, ball control exercises and tactical formations, while the coaching team worked to improve team cohesion and match preparation.

Coach Frank Mbata and team owner Kennedy Onwunali said the competition would provide valuable exposure and experience to the players, most of whom are aged between 19 and 20, as part of their future football development.

They expressed confidence in the players’ ability to compete strongly in the league while gaining the experience needed to advance their careers in the game.

The technical group also underlined that discipline, dedication and teamwork are the main values ​​that guide the club’s preparation before the competition.

The Imo FA League is expected to attract several clubs from across the state, with football fans expecting exciting and competitive matches.
