Atiku wins ADC presidential primaries – THISAGE

Former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has won the presidential nomination of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to the results announced on Wednesday after Monday’s presidential primaries on Wednesday, Atiku polled 1,846,370 votes to beat his closest rival, former Transport Minister, Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi, who polled 504,117 votes.

The former CEO of the defunct FSB International Bank, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, received 177,120 votes.
