AIK elects Zadok Yohanna’s younger brother and six others from Ikon Allah Academy

Swedish team AIK have returned to Nigerian academy Ikon Allah in search of more players following the record sale of Zadok Yohanna to English Premier League side Brighton, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Zadok was sold for an excess of £21 million after 18 months at the club, who signed him from the Kaduna-based Academy after a routine scouting program in Nigeria.

The club has now decided to recruit more young players from the academy, including the 18-year-old’s younger brother along with six others.

Their players have already been presented to the Embassy to obtain their travel visas to Sweden, where they will be assessed with a view to signing a deal before the close of the summer transfer window.

Sources at the Ikon Allah academy say they expect all seven players to secure a permanent contract at the club and also make the step up to a bigger league in the near future like Zadok.
