“I am very happy and grateful to be here,” Agbejoye told the official club website.

“My main strengths are speed, attack, finesse, scoring and making crucial passes, creating chances and, ultimately, winning.”

High expectations from Djurgården

Djurgården scout Jonatan Axelsson expects big things from Agbejoye.

“We have known Angelo well for some time and the interest on our part has become more intense recently. Partly we followed him closely by video, and partly I myself was there for two weeks in Nigeria to see Angelo live in training and matches, as well as to meet him and his family,” Axelsson said.

“Angelo is a playful left-footed player who performs best as an outside striker on the right. He has a point for his speed combined with an excellent technical package and is a skilled finisher. He is a young player and of course he also has parts of his game that he needs to develop and he will get that time here. We see great potential in him and we are very happy that he has now signed for Djurgården.”
