Tobi Amusan wins the Paris Diamond League 100m hurdles in best performance of the season

Nigerian sprinter Tobi Amusan continued her outstanding campaign in 2026 after claiming victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League with a time of 12.28 seconds.

Amusan produced another dominant performance to finish ahead of a strong field, recording the same time for the third time this season and further underlining his remarkable consistency at the highest level.

American hurdler Grace Stark finished second with a time of 12.38 seconds, while Alaysha Johnson took third place with a time of 12.39 seconds.

The victory strengthens Amusan’s impressive run on the 2026 Diamond League circuit, as the former world champion continues to gain momentum ahead of the major championships later this year.

The Nigerian star has remained one of the standout athletes in women’s hurdles this season, consistently recording elite times and reaffirming her status as one of the leading athletes in the event.
