Victor Osimhen has responded to critics questioning his recent performances for Galatasaray, insisting the negative comments do not affect him.
Osimhen faced criticism after Galatasaray’s last two games against Barcelona and Gençlerbirliği.
The Turkish champions suffered a 4-1 defeat to Barcelona before bouncing back with a narrow 1-0 win over Gençlerbirliği.
However, the Nigerian international responded in style on Wednesday night, inspiring Galatasaray to a stunning 4-2 victory over his former club Lille.
The 27-year-old striker found the back of the net in a closely contested match and was subsequently named Man of the Match in recognition of his outstanding performance.

Osimhen responds to critics
Osimhen dismissed the criticism and emphasized that he was used to overcoming challenges and remained confident in his abilities.
“I come from a place where I am not afraid. I am not afraid of difficulties. Nobody can tell me how to run, how to play or how to score goals. I already do these things, and that is why I am one of the best forwards in the world,” he said during his interaction with the media.
“They don’t really know me and nothing they say affects me. They want to drag me into it, but I have approached all conversations with indifference. I have other things to take care of; I don’t bother with these.”
Fenerbahçe’s next test for Galatasaray
Galatasaray will now turn their attention to their next match against Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe, with the highly anticipated clash expected to provide another tough test for Okan Buruk’s men.
The yellow and red lead the Turkish Super Lig standings with 19 points from eight games, three points ahead of third-placed Fenerbahçe.
