2027: PDP announces successful upload of presidential candidate and names of others to INEC portal

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday described the successful uploading of the names of its presidential candidate, his deputy and national assembly candidates on the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a major achievement.

This was made known in a signed statement made available to journalists in Abuja by its National President, Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed Takushara

The party in the statement said this development is a clear demonstration of its commitment to fulfill its promise that under the new leadership, the PDP will participate fully in the 2027 general elections.

The statement reads: “I am pleased to inform all PDP members and Nigerians that our great Party, under my leadership, has successfully uploaded the names of our Presidential Candidate, its Presidential Candidate and our National Assembly candidates onto the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal.

“This is a clear demonstration of our commitment to fulfilling the promise that, under my leadership, the PDP will participate fully in the 2027 general elections. Today, we have taken another decisive step towards fulfilling that promise.

“As we await the conclusion of the uploading of our candidates for the Governorship and state Houses of Assembly, I, on behalf of the National Working Committee of our Party, extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the PDP across Nigeria and the world.

“Together we will continue to build a stronger, more united Party and a better future for our nation.”
