Spain has reached the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after beating France 2-0 in a thrilling encounter in Dallas on Tuesday evening.
Luis de la Fuente’s side blunted a French side full of attacking flair, and managed to control the game with few chances.
The Spanish team deservedly earned their place in Sunday’s final thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro.

Oyarzabal opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the first half after Lamine Yamal was accidentally kicked in the box by French left-back Lucas Digne.
Spain scored again in the second half and remained cool, collected and classy until the end as they finished the game comfortably.
The 2010 champions will now look to win their second World Cup title when they face either England or Argentina in the 2026 final at New Jersey’s New York Stadium on Sunday.
