In September 2022, W4DE and TNK MusiQ collaborated with the Philharmonic and Gaziba on “France” and this record is still going strong years after its first release.

Released on 2907915 Records DK2, the four-piece collaboration builds on that melodic, soulful Amapiano region that has aged well because it has never followed trends. And the Philharmonic’s vocal presence gives the song an emotional warmth that Amapiano’s simply instrumental pieces rarely have.

Since then, W4DE and TNK MusiQ have created real chemistry in several songs. But “France” remains one of the best examples of what happens when producers know exactly how to use their features, instead of just piling up names. Gaziba joins the collaboration, adding texture to the track without clutter.
