Well known Nigerian talent Obedo PF slows things down in a new album titled “Victim”.

Three songs into this sequence and suddenly he lets his guard down. Where “Wayo” hides behind street smarts, “Victim” removes that layer entirely. It’s the most personal cut of all so far, and that shows early.

The production suits the tone, with a moody piano loop and a heartbeat-style kick pattern underneath. The tempo is a little slower than “Wayo”, leaving more space for each line. No loud percussion fighting for space here, just a calm weight that bears it all.

Obedo PF’s voice cracks a little in the first verse, and you can tell he’s doing it on purpose. He’s not in pain. He’s naming the pain, and that rawness in his tone makes it clear. Even the jokes in between feel like part of the drama.

Lyrically, it’s about betrayal, being used, and carrying a burden that no one sees. No football confidence, no street swagger, just a guy who says he’s been duped. The honesty is what separates it from anything else in the series.

After four takes, Obedo PF rapped about bravado, anger, hustle and pain. “Victim” ends this series with its most powerful statement to date, and it succeeds because it earned that vulnerability. It adds to the story instead of duplicating it.
