Lille responded quickly with Soriba Diaoune, who scored a brace in the 8th and 39th minutes to turn the situation around and put the French at 2-1.

Galatasaray responded before the break: Aleksei Batrakov made it 2-2 in the 44th minute with an assist from Roland Sallai.

An own goal from Nabil Bentaleb in the 52nd minute put Galatasaray 3-2 before Osimhen added a fourth goal in the 61st minute.

Argentine playmaker Nico Paz scored after 118 seconds, set up Tasos Douvikas for the second goal in the 49th minute and added his second goal in the 57th minute.

Jacobo Ramon scored the fourth with a header in the 76th minute, while Joshua Zirkzee, who overcame the offside trap from Amad Diallo’s cross, scored a consolation in injury time.
