Bauchi: Bala seeks partnership with CAC to facilitate doing business


Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State on Thursday urged a stronger partnership with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to drive ease of doing business in Bauchi for economic diversification.

The governor spoke at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Annual Commission on Corporate Affairs; Management retreat held at the Ahmadu Bello International Conference Center (ICC), Bauchi.

Governor Bala said collaboration between the Bauchi State Government and the CAC would go a long way in assisting economic operators, especially small and medium enterprises.

He described the CAC as a strategic tool for the national economy and applauded its current general registry for its achievements so far, particularly in digital transformation.

Governor Bala assured of the readiness of the state government to support the CAC in discharging its responsibilities for the economic benefit of Bauchi and its people.

Earlier, Corporate Affairs Commission Registrar General Husaini Ishaq Magaji said the annual management retreat is part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to enhance the operational capacity of participants for effective service delivery.
