On September 3, 2026, the Queen of Peace Model Secondary School, Oboama Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State, became a beacon of hope and unity as it hosted the conclusion of the 5th General Congress of the Rosary Crusade of Ahiara Diocesan Block. His Excellency Bishop Simeon Okezuo Nwobi, CMF, Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Ahiara, presided over a powerful mass that highlighted the theme of the conference: “Mary inspires us to shine”. This uplifting event, aptly named OBOAMA 2026, attracted over 2,000 attendees, all eager to celebrate their faith and community.

The Father of the Day, Prof. Eddie Oparaoji, together with the National Patron of the Crusade, the Noble Lady Prof. Viola Onwuliri, representing the World Council of Laity of the Diocese of Ahiara, brought their wisdom and support to the meeting. In his remarks, Prof. Oparaoji expressed sincere gratitude to Rev. Father Valentine Emereonye and his dedicated team for orchestrating such a successful congress, underscoring the importance of teamwork and faith in achieving collective goals.
