Medikal – Sika with Shatta Wale

Based on the Akan word for money, “Sika” reunites Ghanaian rapper Medikal with Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale for another rap and dancehall collaboration in 2026.

The writing talks about money, ambition and the pursuit of financial success. Medikal takes the rap-driven sections, while Shatta Wale brings his dancehall presence to the exchange. The tune follows Medikal’s September duet “Allo” with Kelvyn Boy.

Atown TSB’s production is somewhat mid-tempo hip-hop which allows for the use of both artists but doesn’t break the song down into discrete pieces.

The partnership already has a history through “Shoulder,” their 2025 collaboration also produced by Atown TSB. That previous relationship gives “Sika” an immediate audience with listeners familiar with their previous work together.

“Sika” is available to stream on all major digital streaming platforms. Leave your comments after listening to the new link between Medikal and Shatta Wale.
