FRSC mourns Sector Commander Ogun Ogunjobi

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Ogun State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi.

The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, described the death of Ogunjobi as a devastating loss to the Corps, which came amid the ongoing mourning of former Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu.

In a condolence message issued on behalf of the management and workforce of the FRSC Signed by the spokesperson, Osondu Ohaeri
In Abuja on Sunday, Mohammed expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased, officers and marshals of the Ogun State Sector Command and other people affected by his death.

He said the loss compounded the pain within the Corps, noting that officers and marshals shared a bond built on sacrifice, a common purpose and commitment to saving lives on Nigerian roads.
“Just as we struggle to come to terms with the loss of our former Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, the death of Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi has brought another painful reminder of how fragile life is and how deeply the loss of a colleague can affect an entire family,” Mohammed said.
He urged officers and marshals, especially those of the Ogun State Sector Command, to remain united and draw strength from their shared commitment to service during the difficult period.
The Corps Marshal prayed for the peaceful repose of Ogunjobi’s soul and asked God to comfort his immediate family and grant the entire FRSC workforce the strength to bear the loss.
He added that while death can end a life, it cannot erase the memories, relationships and contributions of a person who dedicated his or her life to service.
