Walter Mazzarri oversaw his first training session at the Castel Volturno ground, with striker Victor Osimhen still sidelined.

Osimhen was expected to return after recovering from a thigh strain sustained in an international friendly on October 13.

 

However, he was expected to make his return this week, but the plan suffered a set back.

 

The club cited flu symptoms as the cause, leaving fans eager for his return ahead of the upcoming clash with Atalanta on November 25.

 

Osimhen had recently spent time in Nigeria addressing personal matters, returning to Naples last week.
