Sports Minister calls for swift action to resolve World Cup qualification challenges

The Honorable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has called for the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to urgently establish the necessary framework to ensure Nigeria’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as address issues that have hampered performances high and growth of Nigerian football. The meeting, which took place on Thursday at the Minister’s headquarters in Abuja, touched on several topics including the current coach of the national team, the competencies of both the Technical Committee and the Technical Department of the NFF, the discipline of players in the national team training camp.
