Kota Embassy‘S”Grootman Series II”album’Today’s third track is a sharp contribution to South Africa’s growing soundscape. Of the project’s 12 tracks, Malcom X shines, written in a tight, sharp and incisive editorial manner.

The collaboration with Tiego Laz adds texture without compromising the message. The pairing is a wonderful mix of disparate voices in a tight structure that reflects the creative drive that characterizes the album’s middle section.

The song, released in 2026, is part of the larger story of Kota Embassy’s work and consciously chooses to engage listeners through concentrated narrative rather than broad complexity.
