Sallah: Buhari calls for increased food production and warns against population exploration

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has said he is pleased that more and more Nigerians have taken to farms to grow more food to bring down prices and feed the nation. In a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the former President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, the immediate past President, however warned that uncontrolled population growth was a cause for concern.
