The president of the NFF guarantees the support of the futsal and beach soccer committee

During the opening ceremony in Abuja, Gusau highlighted the role of the committee, saying: “The mandate is for the committee to sit down and give us some advice on how we are going to continue to run the league in the future. And obviously, based on the advice of the committee, we intend to ensure that from now on we participate in any competition that arises as far as this football is concerned.”

He added: “Nigeria is not a small country that will start counting African countries and do certain things that were not there. If we say we do that, we are not fair to Nigerians or ourselves. So whatever it takes to make sure we get Nigeria back, that is what we are going to do.”

Gusau assured the committee of financial and administrative support, promising to integrate beach soccer into the broader activities of the NFF.

“I just want to assure you that financially, what I do, the way we have been managing and running other activities in the NFF, we are doing everything we can to ensure that we bring every football back to the role of activities in the NFF.”
