Adamu Kamale is a worthy MP

I came across this grey-haired young man almost immediately after he ventured into the murky waters of politics during the reign of former governor Boni Haruna.

Adamu Kamale contested the Adamawa State Assembly seat to represent Michika and won the election by a landslide. He later became vice president of the Chamber.

He subsequently contested and won the election to represent Michika/Madagali federal constituency in the Green House of the National Assembly.

He proved his mettle by providing good representation. For the first time since the return to civilian rule in 1999, his voters enjoyed the dividend of democracy.

I was therefore not surprised when the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Adamawa State, Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, chose him as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 elections.

Hon Adamu Kamale is an all-rounder in the art of politics and as such the APC governorship candidate has made the right choice on who will assist him in steering the ship of governance of Adamawa State in 2027.

Kamale possesses extraordinary political instincts, a sharp mind and an uncanny ability to read difficult people and situations. If circumstances called for firmness, he might have been.

One thing that convinces him is that he understands the power of conversation, persuasion and human relationships, especially in politics.

I saw firsthand the deep affection and love that the people of Michika felt for him as he served them as their representative in both state and federal legislatures.

His years of national service constitute a notable chapter in the evolution of the present republic, defined by consequential decisions, ambitious commitment and deep commitment to its people.

Therefore, his choice as the running mate of the APC candidate is a testament to the depth of his experience as a grassroots politician and the breadth of his contributions to public service over the past two decades.

As a politician, every time he speaks, you can clearly see the depth of his thoughts, the clarity of his expression and the breadth of his knowledge in serving the people.

His tenacity to serve his people informed his perspective and shaped how he interacted with them.

With a unique style to his bearing, the politician became a figure in Michika and surrounding cities, a hero symbolizing kindness and devotion.

As Ahmed Tijjani Galadima’s train honks with Adamu Kamale trailing behind, the train is expected to reach its destination successfully.

As elections approach, the people of Adamawa State should use the opportunity to reflect, learn and do the needful to enthrone this young man and his principal in the seat of Dougerei Government House, Yola.
