The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a platform to mobilize Nigerians at all levels against the All Progressives Congress (APC) by 2027.
National Coordinator, Mrs. Lauretta Onuchie, said at a press conference on Wednesday in Abuja, the platform tagged “One ADC Movement” was designed to unite all members of the party across the country.
Onuchie explained that the movement was created to strengthen ties within the ADC and encourage reconciliation if differences of opinion occur.
According to him, the collective future is bigger than individual ambitions.
He urged his members and supporters to strengthen party unity, stressing that divisions would not bring the desired results.
“This movement is to help strengthen our unity at all levels, so I urge all our supporters to work together for meaningful results.
“Across Nigeria today, our people are observing the political space with hopes, expectations and sometimes with concern.
“Nigerians are asking an important question: Can political parties overcome internal divisions and truly serve the people?

“Our answer today is yes. The One ADC Movement is built on a simple but powerful principle – unity is the greatest strength of any political party,” he said.
The coordinator said that political parties are not just election platforms but also communities.
“This is a family; a collection of people who believe that together they can build something stronger than themselves.
“But like every family, there will be arguments, there will be disagreements, and there will be differences of opinion. That’s the nature of democracy. What matters is what happens after those moments,” he added.
