After missing the 100m, Favour Ofili advances to the Olympic 200m final

Nigeria’s Favour Ofili has reached the women’s 200m final after failing to participate in the 100m due to administrative issues.

Ofili became the first Nigerian woman to qualify for the 200m final at the Olympics in 28 years.

Ofili ran 22.05 seconds to finish third fastest overall behind Gabby Thomas and 100m winner Julien Alfred in the semi-final race.
