Agent claims several clubs interested in Super Eagles AFCON Ace

Nigerian international midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro’s agent says his client has multiple offers following reports that a permanent deal has been reached for him to remain on a permanent deal with relegated Italian Serie A side Pisa, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Akinsamiro joined newly promoted Pisa at the start of the season, made an instant impact and caught the attention of the Nigerian national team selectors, who rewarded him with a place in the team for the AFCON.

However, since returning from the tournament, where he was unable to play, he has been in and out of the team, which was eventually relegated from Serie A two weeks ago.

Reports say that Inter Milan, who sent him on loan to Pisa, have reached an agreement for his permanent signing for a fee of around €7 million, but with a buy-back clause of €8 million.

His agent Crescenzo Cecere, however, poured cold water on the report in an interview: “He has taken a big step forward with Pisa. The Club’s season has been disappointing, but personally the boy can be satisfied. There are many interested teams and we will evaluate it in due course. There is no shortage of requests,” he told FCInter1908.
