The two teams will meet in separate semi-finals on Wednesday, April 22 at Kwale Township Stadium.

The Sapele Lions open the day against Morak FC at 10:00 am. It promises to be a stern test for the Lions, who played out a goalless draw when the two teams last met on May 1, 2025, in the Nigeria Nationwide League One, NLO1.

Later at 12:00, Warri Wolves will take on Tellectual FC. Wolves beat Lord Honor 1-0 to reach this stage, while Tellectual booked their place after beating Go-Pro FC on penalties following a 2-2 draw. This semi-final marks the first time that both clubs will meet in a major competition.

The 2026 Delta State Football Association Cup, sponsored by Arthur Ferdinand Engineering, will culminate on Sunday, April 26 with the final at the Southern Delta University ground in Ozoro, scheduled for 12 noon.

Before the main event, retired Nigerian national team players will perform at a novel opening event at 10:00 am
