Brighton maintain pressure to sign new Super Eagles winger despite two failed bids

The future of newly capped Nigerian international winger Femi Azeez will be one of the stories to watch when the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday, reports OwnGoalNigeria.com.

Earlier in the summer, newly promoted Ipswich Town were reported to have failed in a bid for his service, with Aston Villa also rumored to be in pursuit, as well as some teams in Italy.

The latest report says that English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion will step up their pursuit of the 25-year-old in the hope of sealing a deal with Millwall before the transfer deadline.

They have already failed with two bids, with the latest bid reportedly worth just over £10m, but still below the valuation Millwall gave to the winger who was voted into the English Championship team of the season.

Talks will continue with the player interested in a move and Millwall keen to help him achieve his dream of playing in the English Premier League.
