Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori has previously starred in Serie A but remains open to returning at some point in the future.
The Roma youth team won the Premier League and will also have a chance to win the Champions League. Arsenal face Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday and have a chance to make history.
Meanwhile, the Italian has spoken to numerous media outlets in his home country about his situation, the Gunners and the upcoming final.
According to Yahoo Sports, in a talk with Corriere della Sera – via VoceGiallorossa, he revealed what the future holds for him.
He said: “I’m happy here now, but I’ve left some unfinished business with Roma. I barely played for that team when I was very young. I’d like to come back. Not now, but sooner or later.”
The defender was also asked to compare Roma and Arsenal and whether the Giallorossi can replicate the Gunners under Gian Piero Gasperini.

“I don’t know if Roma can become the new Arsenal, but I am very happy that they have put their faith in Gasperini. I am always supporting them. I hope they can return to the levels I was used to as a child.”
Roma has qualified for the Champions League. The versatile full-back expressed his happiness about it.
He said: “I’m delighted with what they’ve achieved. I’ve spoken to Mancini, Cristante and Pellegrini. Some even wrote to me about my birthday, so we connected it all.”
This is not the first time Calafiori has spoken about his long-term future. It looks like he will return to Italy in the future, but that point is still quite some way off as Mikel Arteta sees him as an important player in the Emirates squad.
