Dare Kuti appointed Nigerian Gymnastics Federation Media Director

Former Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, and media professional, Dare Kuti, has been appointed Media Director of the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria (GFN).

The appointment is contained in a letter dated September 27, 2026 and signed by the President of the GFN, Prince Kelvin Erhunmwunse.

According to the federation, Kuti’s appointment came after a “thorough evaluation” of his records, dedication and contributions to the growth of the sport.

The GFN Executive Committee unanimously approved his appointment during its meeting held on September 27.

The federation expressed confidence that Kuti would bring his experience and dedication to the role while contributing to the promotion and development of gymnastics in Nigeria.

Kuti, who has several years of experience in sports journalism and media development, will be responsible for leading the media, publicity and communication activities of the federation as it seeks to take Nigerian gymnastics to the next level.

The federation congratulated Kuti on what it described as a well-deserved appointment and urged him to contribute to the continued growth of the sport.

The appointment adds another responsibility to Kuti’s growing profile in the Nigerian sports media.

“Taking gymnastics to the next level,” the federation stated in its congratulatory message.
