Deal fact: Monday joins MLS Club Washington Spirit

Super Falcons Forward Monday Gift has sealed a transfer to Major League Soccer, MLS, Club Washington Spirit.

On Monday, who wrote a three -year contract with the additional one year option linked to Washington Spirit of the Spanish team League F UD Tenerife.

The 23 -year -old is already looking forward to playing for her new club.

“I am excited to join the Washington Spirit family, since for a long time I wanted to play for the club,” the club’s official website said Monday.

“I can’t wait to start living the dream with the spirit!”

Chief coach Jonathan Giraldez is delighted with his arrival at the club.

“The gift has unique qualities as a striker and add a new layer to our attack third,” he said.

“We are delighted to welcome the team in the near future.”

On Monday he appeared in more than 65 games for Tenerife, and scored 26 goals contributions.

Before his time with Tenerife, he played for the FC theft of Nigeria and Cod United Amazons and Bayels Queens.

The striker was part of the Nigeria’A team for the FIFA 2023 Women’s Cup.
