Ebere Eze trolls former Super Eagles captain after winning title with Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Ebere Eze fired a salvo in the direction of former Nigerian senior team captain John Obi Mikel after Arsenal’s title win, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Yesterday the Gunners were crowned champions of the English Premier League after Manchester City drew 1-1 with Bournemouth giving them a four-point lead with a game remaining.

Mikel has criticized Arsenal’s style of play, particularly their reliance on corner kicks and the way they use them to attack.

Posting on his official Instagram account via his story, Eze attacked Mikel with a post that read “John Obi Mikel is your sleep paralysis demon.” It came accompanied by a sound that imitated Mikel’s statement: “Arsenal can only score from corner kicks, my friend.”

He is one of many Arsenal faithful who have criticized the former Chelsea midfielder, who in his latest podcast gave Arsenal credit for winning the league.
