The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared City Boys Movement South West Zone women leader Halimat Adenike Tejuosho wanted in an alleged fraud case involving obtaining money under false pretenses.
The statement was announced on Monday via an official notice issued by the Commission and signed by the Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.
According to the EFCC, Tejuosho is wanted in connection with ongoing investigations into alleged fraudulent activities, although the agency has not disclosed full details of the specific transactions or sums involved.
The Commission called on the public to come forward with information that could lead to his arrest, directing anyone with useful information to report to any EFCC office, nearest police station or other security agencies. It added that tips could also be sent through its official communication channels.
Tejuosho’s inclusion in the EFCC’s most wanted list has attracted attention due to his recent political visibility. She was appointed as the City Boys Movement’s southwest zone women leader, with responsibilities that include grassroots mobilization, civic engagement and coordination of women-focused political activities in the region.
His appearance on the wanted list has raised concerns about background checks and assessment processes within political advocacy groups, particularly for individuals occupying strategic mobilization roles.
The development also ties in with previous allegations against the suspect. In 2025, the EFCC reportedly questioned Tejuosho over his alleged involvement in an appointment and contract scam.
Tejuosho, founder of Haleems Integrated Services Limited, has been accused by numerous victims of raising money under the guise of securing appointments and contracts with the federal government.
The lawyer for one of the signatories, Tolu Babaleye, had claimed that he operated a scheme involving forged documents and fake letters of appointment and had falsely claimed links to the Office of the National Security Adviser to gain credibility.
