The commission charged Sirika along with her daughter, Fatima, son-in-law, Hamma Jalal Sule, and Al-Buraq Investment Limited because of the alleged N2.7 billion fraud.

Sirika, EFCC accused, harassed his office as a minister by providing unfair benefits at Al Buraq Global Investment Limited.

AdaBa, who is the head of the NUPRC license and permit, told the court that at the time of Sule’s work by the commission, he was the head of human resources at the agency.

He added that EFCC, on March 14, 2024, asked NUPRC to provide it with Sule’s work records.

“As head, human resources, is my responsibility to appear before the commission to do that.

“On that day, I was at EFCC to submit his work notes (Sule),” the witness said.

Judge Sylvanus Orji postponed this case until 30 June for the continuation of the trial.
