Ekiti’s Guber: Adebayo, Fayemi, other APC leaders support Oyebanji for the second term

The Caucus of Ekiti of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unanimously approved the offer of the second mandate of the governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The approval was approved in a special Caucus meeting of the state chapter of the APC held in Iyin Ekiti.

The first civil governor of the state was attended by the meeting, Otunba Niyi Adebayo and the immediate past governor, dr. Kayode Fayemi, as well as Oyebanji.

Speaking while the approval movement moved, the president of the Ekiti assembly house, Adeoye Aribasoye, said that the governor has shown exceptional leadership qualities through his commitment to the well -being of the people of the State.

The speaker praised the governor for making the party highly acceptable for people through his performance of pounds, policies and programs oriented to people.

Previously, the President of the state of the APC, Solo Elesin, thanked Oyebanji for making the party very attractive and acceptable for all the state indigenous people through his development steps.

He claimed that no city in the state has been excluded from various government interventions including the development of infrastructures, rural electrification, the improvement of health, the agricultural revolution and the empowerment of young people.

Even in his observations, Fayemi said that the state had to thank God.

“In general, I think we have to thank God a lot and we have to thank our governor. Wherever we turn, it is Bao. Our leader and I exchange notes regularly,” he said.

In his contribution, Adebayo said that Caucus had made himself very clear.

β€œWe are all in support of the governor who disputes for another mandate.

“Everyone is satisfied with the work he is carrying out and we believe that he should seek the re -election, he has our full support while continuing his leadership trip,” said Adebayo.

In response, Oyebanji expressed his gratitude to the party leaders for their belief in his leadership acumen.

Facing the concerns about high -profile political alignments outside the APC, the governor insisted that the party remained without shake.

He said: “We are not worried. What do you expect that politicians do in addition to politics? Whether through lies or propaganda, they must try something”.
