Four dead, 10 injured in Osun car crash

At least four people were killed and 10 others injured in a car crash along the Ilesa–Akure Expressway in Osun State on Thursday.

Public Enlightenment Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Osun State. Agnes Ogungbemi confirmed the accident to journalists on Friday in Osogbo.

Ogungbemi said the accident occurred at around 10pm on Thursday at the Omi-Asoro Junction along the expressway.

According to him, a Toyota Hiace bus and a Suzuki commercial minibus were involved in the accident.

He said the command has initiated a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

Ogungbemi said that two men and a girl died instantly at the scene, while another victim died later.
