Havertz Limps In Germany vs Netherlands

Kai Havertz will undergo an MRI for a hamstring injury he suffered while playing for Germany.

The Arsenal striker left the pitch just 30 minutes into his country’s 1-1 Nations League draw with the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Thursday night.

Earlier in the first half, Havertz had received a nasty-looking challenge from Crystal Palace’s Quinten Timber, brother of his Arsenal team-mate Jurrien Timber, as reported by talkSPORT.

When Havertz first volleyed a pass, Timber’s studs connected with the Gunners forward’s right knee, causing him to fall to the ground.

Havertz attempted to continue playing after receiving treatment, but was ultimately unable to continue due to a hamstring issue that appeared to be the problem despite Timber’s contact on his knee.
