He pays fines to banks, not to the Frsc officers, the marshal of the body warns motorists

The marshal of the body of the Federal Road Safety Corps (Frsc), Dauda Ali Biu, warned motorists from paying fines of traffic violation directly to Frsc staff.

He stressed that all payments must be made through designated banks or platforms approved by the government to guarantee transparency and responsibility.

Biu observed that any officer captured to collect money from road users would have to face severe disciplinary actions.

He urged the drivers to immediately report these accidents, adding that the body was committed to eradicating corruption in its ranks and promoting ethical conduct.

The marshal of the body also reminded the public that the FRSC has not accepted cash payments in no case during road operations.

He invited motorists to cooperate insisting on lawful procedures when it comes to traffic violations.
