Kaduna Abuzz with high expectations towards ‘wedding competition’ for Zumunci Football Academy secretary

The Abakwa area of ​​Kaduna will be a hive of betting this weekend as grassroots football stalwarts, stakeholders and fans flock to witness a series of matches organized to commemorate the wedding of Zumunci Academy secretary, Sports247 reports.

The matches will be held under the banner of what has been stylized as ‘Wedding Competition’, which is sure to become more exciting with the first semi-final involving the host team. Zumunci Soccer Academy on Saturday.

The match, which is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm, will feature acclaimed Zumunci tango fans, the Ado Yalo Football Academy at LEA Primary School, Abakwa-Kaduna, where the host team trains three times a week.

Saturday’s match will be followed on Sunday by the second semi-final, which will see two equally popular Kaduna youth teams clash starting at 4:00 pm, as City Football Academy battles Hanjen Football Academy for a place in the final.

The winners of both matches will meet at the same venue on Saturday, June 6 for the grand finale of the mini-competition, which Zumunci president Abdullahi Tanimu says promises to produce new Crocodile City talent.

He stated in an introductory message before Saturday’s match: “I am Abdullahi, manager and president of Zumunci Football Club in Kaduna. I have a football academy with good players, young and talented players.”
