Tanzanian duo Mabantu are back with their new song, “Leo Ndo Leo”, and it’s a whole new side of Tussa and Muuh.

Party duo Bongo Flava, known for its high energy, takes a step back from its signature sound for something more meaningful.

“Leo Ndo Leo” means “Today is the day” and is about faith, appreciation and commitment to making the most of each new morning. This change really works in their favor, because the seriousness behind the message seems sincere rather than forced.

The record fuses Bongo Flava rhythms with Afro-pop and contemporary African production, keeping things upbeat and danceable without losing the weight of what they’re saying.
