Football talent Noah Idris of Lagos-based Mavlon FC was the center of everyone’s eyes after his two breathtaking goals for La Liga side Generation Next condemned Sevilla to a 2-1 defeat, reports www.totorinews.com.

Idris, wearing the iconic number 10 shirt, dazzled magnificently on the right wing with his deft touches, calm control of the ball, quick dribbles and wonderful movements with the ball which caused problems for Sevilla. He was simply unstoppable, and his two goals sum up a cherry on the cake for the 13-year-old Nigerian teenage sensation.

The La Liga Generation Next team is made up of four teenage players from four major footballing countries in the world: Nigeria, Morocco, Mexico and Japan.

Idris and three other players were selected by Nigeria. Timothy Ijachi, another highly rated teenage player from Mavlon FC, is expected to join them before their next match.

Idris’ performance made headlines in Spain after performing to a very high standard of play, but to many who know Mavlon FC as a hub of footballing talent in Nigeria, this came as no surprise.
