  MTN Scholarship for Blind Students

  The MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (MTN SBS) was introduced in 2012 to support blind students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions. This scholarship is available to 200 and 300 level blind students studying any course. Since 2024, the number of scholarships awarded to blind students has increased from 60 to 100, with the annual scholarship amount increasing from N200,000 to N300,000.

  Eligibility Criteria for MTN SBS

  • Level of studies: Open to blind students at 200 and 300 level. For blind law students (a five-year course), only those who are at 300 level can apply.
  • Cumulative Average (GPA):
    • Blind students in universities or colleges of education must have a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
    • Blind students of government polytechnics must have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from their OND program and must have been admitted to the HND program.
      

      Best 10 UTME Scholarships

      Since 2020, the Top 10 UTME Scholarship has been awarded to the top 10 UTME candidates as announced by JAMB. These candidates receive scholarships from 100 level up to graduation, provided they meet the required academic standards. In 2024, the annual scholarship amount for this category was also increased from N200,000 to N300,000.
