Naira obtained N0.51 against dollars in the official window, closed flat on the black market

The Nigerian currency, Naira, received a marginal N0.51 of the US dollar on the official window on Monday, July 28, 2025.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira was closed on N1, 534.20/$ 1 compared to N1, 534.71/$ 1 which was traded on Friday, July 25, 2025.

This is the advantage of N0.51 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded at N1.540/$ 1, the same as the previous day level N1.540/$ 1.

Naira closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2.115/£ 1 is the same as the previous day level N2.115/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1, equal to the previous day level N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira also closed the flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 the same as the previous day level ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
